CGP at the House of Blues!
We're proud to announce that we'll be playing the House of Blues Back Porch stage on Monday, June 13, right after the Chicago Blues Festival weekend. It's a great way for us to kick off the summer. Get your feed bag on and enjoy some catfish, jambalaya or a shrimp po' boy, while CGP mixes it up with some old favorites, originals and new tunes. Music starts at 9 p.m.

Check out the House of Blues Web site for more information.

Festival Time in Chicago
Don't you hate it when people say there's nothing to, especially in the summer. Chicago is loaded with great music and numerous festivals in every part of the city, all summer long. CGP will be playing the Edgebrook Festival, Friday, July 22, 7 p.m. There will be a very special treat for those of you who remember Johnny's first foray onto the Chicago music scene. More details will follow.

Mississippi Memories
CGP had an awesome time in Mississippi, this April, when we played the Juke Joynt Festival in Clarksdale, birthplace of the Delta Blues. Not only were we one of the few non-Clarksdale residents to play the festival, but we also played Morgan Freeman's Ground Zero Blues Club and Red's Juke Joint. We got a great reception to our music, especially our originals, and we've been asked back. Far out!

Check out this quick vid of Steve and Chuck playing their resonators in a trashy little shack just outside of Clarksdale. Thanks to a bar patron, we eventually got better digs!
New Navigation
Wanna know where we're playing next. Just click on the "Shows" tab to the right.  There are even a few tunes we recorded at BooCoo Studios last year. Hit the "Songs" tab to hear Bullfrog Blues, a traditional boogie we stole from Rory Gallagher, and Shacked Up in Mississippi, an original I wrote a number of years ago. This version is what I heard in my head when I wrote it!

We've been working hard to create new music, some of which will be up in the next month. As we record more originals, we'll add them to the jukebox! So come back and visit to see what we've been up to.
